This lovely plate is from Staffel Stoneware, Germany.

This plate has all the quality and style you would expect from Staffel Stone.
This is really helpful when you want to move the plate as you have something to pick it up by. The fact that it is flat also helps if cutting a cake placed on it.
The plate was made around the 1950s and is in very good condition. When tilted towards the light a couple of fine marks can be seen from use.
The classic blue and white combination really sets this cake plate off ! When not in use it displays so well, I can just imagine it propped up on a dresser.
