Charming vintage wooden box with a wonderful hand painted flowers painting on the top of the lid, with further floral sprays around the sides, which gives it a real German folk art charm. This has been painted in a light ground with brown colour trim around the outside edges of the lid, which gives a wonderful background to the beautifully painted flowers. A wonderful rustic piece with metal hinges and rests on 4 solid wooden feet.
This box comes from a family property. It does show some signs of its vintage journey, with some marks and scuffs to the wood. This adds to its vinatge charm and patina.
